We are delighted to announce 8 new Members to the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter! This makes an overall total of 66 Members who are leading the way for Good Employment across Greater Manchester.

In this announcement, we hear from Terry Duffy, Area Director of Acas, and Board Member of the Good Employment Charter. Terry celebrates the new Members, and highlights that 12,000 more employees are now benefitting from Good Employment practice across the region.

The employers progressing from Supporter to Member of the Charter are:

  • Datesand
  • Howorth Air Technology
  • Manchester City Council
  • MLP Law
  • Slalom
  • Social
  • Stockport Council
  • Walker Sime

To progress to Membership, these organisations went under assessment and a technical review panel – to fully demonstrate that they are meeting the criteria of our seven characteristics of Good Employment. Learn more about the process here.

The Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter is working to make Greater Manchester a better place to live, work and play. Working alongside Greater Manchester employers, we are spreading awareness and offering support on a number of employment topics. Employers can start their journey with the Charter by signing up as a Supporter, which asks for a commitment to improving practice. To learn more, get in touch today.
